The Capitoline Museums

So I was curious when I saw this on the schedule this morning. I wasnt sure what this place was or what kind of museum it was.  It is actually a group of museums sitting on Piazza del Campidoglio, on Capitoline hill in Rome. The museums were created in 1471 by Pope Sixtus IV. When the church ordered the destruction of roman statues the one at the center of Piazza del Campidoglio was spared because it is of Constantine who was responsible for making Christianity the state religion of Italy. During lunch at the Museum I had a Fantastic fruit salad and also discovered Italian Fanta. More on Fanta later.
